Many Indian cricketers, especially Virat Kohli and KL Rahul, have given statements against outside remarks aimed at fans.
The cricketers have become allergic to criticism from the supporters of the team and have often said that they don’t care what people think outside.
However, young Indian bowler Arshdeep has a different view and has shown a mirror to the senior pros of the team.
He said fans can express love and anger, and players should accept both. He was a victim of social media trolls when he was targeted for dropping Asif Ali’s catch in the Asia Cup 2022.
“Fans love us and cricket a lot. So when we perform, they give us love, and when we don’t perform, people get angry,” Arshdeep said in a press conference. “You can’t run away from that. They express their emotions because we play for India, and it is their right to express love and anger. We should accept both,” he said.
Arshdeep Singh is a fabulous bowler for Team India in white-ball cricket. He took 10 wickets in the ICC T20 World Cup and recently made his ODI debut against New Zealand.
