When Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir almost hit each other in the previous season of IPL, the world was shocked to see the ugly scenes. Umpires and players pulled them away. Fans and cricketers slammed Virat and Gambhir for their bad behavior on the field.
Pakistan batter Agha Salman sent an Instagram message to Virat Kohli about the ugly fight. However, he didn’t reveal the details of his message.
“I respect Virat Kohli. He is respected everywhere, I texted him when he had a fight with Gautam Gambhir but I am not going reveal what I wrote,” Salman said.
“I, Abdullah Shafique and Usama Mir were watching the match. Pakistan were up against New Zealand.I never wrote anything negative.”
Salman then met Virat during the Asia Cup 2023, and Shadad Khan informed the star India batter about the message. Kohli said that he didn’t see the text as he gets a lot of messages on social media. The trio then shared a laugh after the India and Pakistan game.
Meanwhile, Agha called his teammate Imam ul Haq a liar for the fake story he revealed around his message to Virat.
Imam had said that Salman had told Virat to calm down. “Kohli bhai, easy ho jao. Kya ho gaya hai? [Kohli brother, take it easy. What happened?],” Imam said in a video.
“Don’t take Imam seriously as he has a habit of saying things that doesn’t exist. He just goes in a flow and and doesn’t think what he is saying. Imam then tries to cover up his lies,” Agha Salman said.
