A day after Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bowling coach Lakshmipathy Balaji tested positive for COVID-19, batting coach Michael Hussey is the latest to have contracted the novel virus. Hoping for a negative report like CSK CEO Kasi Viswanathan, the former Australian batsman has sent his samples again to be redone.

“Hussey tested positive. But his samples are being redone. Hopefully, the report will come negative,” a source told TOI. Meanwhile, 2 members including Balaji had tested positive on Monday ahead of the team’s game against Rajasthan on Tuesday. However, IPL 2021 was postponed indefinitely after a string of positive cases were reported earlier today.
