SuryaKumar Yadav grabbed headlines for all the wrong reasons recently after he liked a controversial tweet trolling Indian skipper Virat Kohli before unliking it. The tweet liked by the Mumbai batsman featured a meme directed towards Kohli, referring to him as ‘paper captain’. While he unliked the tweet later, screenshots went viral on social media.

The 30-year-old was criticized on social media after liking the controversial tweet as fans lashed out at him. After facing the wrath of the Netizens, the Mumbai Indians batsman on Tuesday reacted to Kohli’s latest tweet from Sydney.

Virat on Tuesday shared a clip from Team India’s practice session Down Under where he can be seen facing the Indian bowlers. SKY reacted to the video and wrote: “Energy Sound can’t wait to watch Domination.”

Earlier, during the recently-concluded IPL 2020, Suryakumar had played an unbeaten knock of 79 runs against Kohli-led RCB to lead MI to a clinical win in a nervy run-chase. During the game, Kohli tried to rattle the right-hander by trying to sledge him but Suryakumar maintained his composure and helped his team go over the line.

Despite his heroics in the recent IPL season, Surya Kumar Yadav was left out of India’s squad for the upcoming series against Australia. Team India are slated to play three ODI, as many T20Is, followed by four Tests.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli will miss the last three Tests as he’s been granted paternity leave by the BCCI. He and his wife Anushka Sharma are expecting the birth of their first child.
