AB de Villiers suffered a back injury during the Pakistan Super League and his IPL franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore are in a fix since the next edition of the league is just two weeks away.
However, AB de Villiers has given a good news ahead of the 12th edition. He has stated that the doctors have suggested him to take two weeks rest, meaning he might get fit in time for the IPL.
“I saw my doctor who has advised complete rest for two weeks,” AB de Villiers was quoted as saying by the Indian Express.
Having retired from international cricket, AB de Villiers will be available for the whole season of the league.
He was in good touch in the Bangladesh Premier League and Pakistan Super League before being ruled out of the latter because of an unfortunate injury.
