Sanju Samson is a man on a mission of accomplishing his dream to play for the country. The right-hand batsman scored a sublime double hundred in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy. His knock of 212* off just 129 balls was the fastest List-A double century by an Indian batsman.
Samson, who plays for Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League, was congratulated by the Member of Parliament, Shashi Tharoor. He took to Twitter to question the white-ball selectors whether they watched Samson’s latest sensational knock or not. Tharoor has been a vocal supporter of Samson.
In order to troll the witty politician, the official Twitter handle of Rajasthan Royals mocked Tharoor for the time he took to congratulate Sanju. Giving the taste of his own medicine, the twitter handle took a dig at the veteran leader with their style of Tharoor’s vocabulary.
