With teams working hard, such personal moments show a relaxed atmosphere in the camp. Sarfaraz, who has played Test cricket for India, was blessed with a baby boy on October 21, 2024, in Mumbai. He hasn’t revealed the name of his child.
His son was born two days after the batter scored his maiden Test hundred, a 150 against New Zealand in Bengaluru.

Sarfaraz Khan comes into the 19th season of the cash-rich league on the back of an impressive domestic season. He scored 150 runs against Goa in the Vijay Hazare Trophy. In the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, he amassed 329 runs, including a hundred against Assam and a 73 against Rajasthan.

They will return home for their second fixture, against the Punjab Kings, on April 3, before facing the Royal Challengers Bengaluru on April 5 in an away match. The Men in Yellow will then compete against the Delhi Capitals on April 11 at home.
