Are Shubman Gill and Sanju Samson jealous of each other? Did Shubman Gill edit a photo to remove Sanju Samson while congratulating Team India? These claims have spread across social media like wildfire.
First, take a look at the picture that Shubman Gill posted. It’s a great photo, and Gill captioned it “Champions.” Now, people on social media are claiming that this picture is edited and that Sanju Samson was erased from it.
According to users online, the top photo is the “original.” In that picture, you can supposedly see Sanju standing next to Jasprit Bumrah. Yes, his face isn’t fully visible in that image either, but people say it still looks like Sanju.
Then they point to the bottom picture, which Shubman Gill posted, claiming that Sanju has been removed from it. So does that mean Gill actually edited him out?
No. The claims circulating on social media are not correct. Let’s fact-check it.
Both pictures are on your screen. First, look at Kuldeep Yadav — notice his position in both images. Then look at Tilak Varma — his position is also different in the two photos.
Now look at the trophy. In one image, the trophy is in the hands of Suryakumar Yadav, while in the other image it’s in Tilak Varma’s hands.
This clearly shows that these are two completely different photos, not the same image with someone edited out. So the claim spreading on social media is entirely false.
At a time when the entire country is celebrating the victory of India national cricket team, is it really necessary to spread hate like this?
