Overview:
Muchhal has taken legal action against Mane for his comments.
Palash Muchhal is again in the spotlight amid cheating allegations, following claims by Smriti Mandhana’s close friend Vidnyan Mane, who is also an actor and the producer. Muchhal has deleted Instagram posts that featured the star Indian batter. According to the Times of India, the pictures were visible as of January 24, 2026, but Palash’s social media account shows that his photos with Smriti are no longer visible.
These included birthday celebrations, festival wishes and appearances in public and private events.
Mandhana and Muchhal were supposed to get married on November 23, 2025. However, the wedding was on hold after Smriti’s father fell ill and was rushed to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Mane mentioned that Palash was caught in a compromising situation with another woman, with Indian cricketers beating the groom. Mane also accused Muchhal of cheating him.
“I was at the wedding when he was caught with another woman. The Indian female cricketers beat him up. The entire family is chindi chor. I thought he would get married, but it has backfired on me,” he told Hindustan Times.
Muchhal has taken legal action against Mane for his comments.
“A legal notice of defamation of INR 10 crore has sent 10 crore to Vidnyan Mane by my lawyer for his false, outrageous and highly defamatory accusation made to malign my reputation and character,” Palash wrote on Instagram.
