Recently, the BCCI had banned Bangladeshi player Mustafizur Rahman from the IPL. After this, Bangladesh refused to come to India for the T20 World Cup and also stopped the broadcasting of the IPL in their country. Amid all these events, a report surfaced that shocked everyone. The report claimed that the BCCI had offered Mustafizur Rahman a chance to return to the IPL.
Now, BCB President Aminul Islam Bulbul has reacted to this report. Aminul Islam Bulbul said,
“I have had no written or verbal communication with the BCCI regarding Mustafiz’s (return to the IPL). I have not discussed this with anyone in my board. There is no truth in this news.”
This statement from the BCB President makes it clear that the BCCI has not made any offer to Mustafizur Rahman and that they are standing firm on their decision.
