The ICC has officially announced the start of ticket sales for the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup, offering exceptionally low prices for one of the biggest cricket events worldwide. The 10th edition, set to take place from February 7 to March 8, 2026, will see 20 teams compete in 55 matches across India and Sri Lanka, making the tournament more accessible than ever for fans.

The tournament will take place across eight venues—five in India and three in Sri Lanka—with the grand finale scheduled for March 8. The opening day is packed with action, featuring Pakistan taking on the Netherlands in Colombo, West Indies meeting Bangladesh, and a blockbuster showdown between reigning champions India and the USA in Mumbai.

The ICC has taken a big step towards inclusivity by offering Phase I tickets at extremely modest prices. Fans can enter for INR 100 in India and LKR 1000 in Sri Lanka, with over two million tickets available initially.

ICC CEO Sanjog Gupta said, “Launching Phase I of ticket sales marks a key step in our mission to deliver the most accessible and globally connected ICC event ever. Our goal for the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup is simple: every fan—no matter their location, background, or budget—should be able to enjoy world-class cricket live in the stadium.”

“By setting ticket prices as low as Rs 100 and LKR 1000, we are prioritizing affordability in our approach. This is about making the event accessible to millions, inviting them to be part of a global celebration of cricket and experience the energy, emotion, and excitement that only a stadium atmosphere can provide.”

This month-long event will be hosted at some of the most iconic cricketing venues, including the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, Eden Gardens in Kolkata, MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, the Singhalese Sports Club Ground, R.
