Mushfiqur Rahim scored a century in his 100th Test, becoming the 11th cricketer in Test cricket history to reach the three-digit mark in the big game. The right-handed batter reached the landmark on Day 2 of the Test against Ireland. He took a single on Jordan Neill’s delivery as the fans at the Shere Bangla National Stadium celebrated the milestone.
Rahim stayed calm and took his time before reaching his ton. Ireland’s bowlers were spot on with their line length from the start of the proceedings in the first session. Littin Das took a single on the first ball of the 91st over, giving Rahim a chance to take strike.
