Amid the glitz and glamour of IPL 2025, information about match-fixing has now come to light, prompting the BCCI to take a strict stance.
Reportedly, a suspicious businessman from Hyderabad has been attempting to execute a match-fixing plan in the IPL 2025 . According to a report by Cricbuzz, the BCCI has issued a warning to all IPL stakeholders, including team owners, players, coaches, support staff, and commentators to stay alert and avoid any interaction with the said businessman, who is allegedly trying to lure them into corrupt activities. The Anti-Corruption Security Unit (ACSU) believes that the individual has links with bookmakers and has previously been involved in such activities. To prevent any wrongdoing, the ACSU has already alerted all participants to remain vigilant.
