Bollywood superstar and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) owner Shah Rukh Khan met his team on March 21. He had a heartfelt chat with the players before the season opener. KKR will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the first match of IPL 2025 on March 22 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
Shah Rukh supports KKR during matches, both home and away. Last year, he was in the stands when KKR won the IPL final by eight wickets. He later joined the celebrations with the team.
KKR shared a video of Shah Rukhβs meeting with the players on their official X handle. The Bollywood superstar gave an inspiring message to his team before the match.

Shah Rukh Khan wished his players good luck and encouraged them to stay positive. He welcomed the new members and praised head coach Chandrakant Pandit for guiding the team. He also thanked Ajinkya Rahane for joining KKR as their new captain.

KKRβs Home Game Might Be Shifted to Guwahati
KKRβs home match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on April 6 might be moved from Kolkata to Guwahati. Reports say Kolkata Police informed the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) that they cannot provide enough security for the game.
If the match is moved, it will be the second time in two years that KKRβs home fixture has been rescheduled. Last year, a match between KKR and Rajasthan Royals was postponed due to similar reasons.
KKR fans will be hoping for a strong start to the season when they take on RCB at Eden Gardens.
