The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a cash reward of INR 58 crore for Team India after their win in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. It will be shared among players, support staff, and the selection Committee members.
India’s Dominant Performance
The Indian cricket team played brilliantly throughout the tournament. Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, the team won all their matches to lift the trophy.
They started their campaign with a six-wicket win against Bangladesh. In their next game, they defeated arch-rivals Pakistan by six wickets. In their last group-stage match against New Zealand, they secured a 44-run victory. In the semi-final, they beat Australia by four wickets to qualify for the finals.

BCCI Praises the Team
BCCI President Roger Binny praised the players and support staff. BCCI Secretary Devajit Saikia also hailed the team. He said this victory proved India’s dominance in world cricket. He appreciated the players’ dedication and teamwork. He also said that India’s top ranking in white-ball cricket was well deserved.
