Team India captain Rohit Sharma has refused to give importance to England’s Bazball approach in Test cricket. In the pre-match press conference, the Indian captain said he is focused on how his team plays rather than looking at the opposite numbers.
“We will look to play our cricket. I am not interested in how the opposition is going to play. I am focused on what we want to do as a team,” Rohit Sharka said in Hyderabad.
England’s fearless approach in Test cricket has been rewarding so far. They have won a lot of games under Ben Stokes and Brendon McCullum.
They go on the attack from the first Test ball to put the rival team on the back foot. England defeated Pakistan 3-0 in Pakistan in the testing sub-continent conditions.
However, many former cricketers feel that their brand of cricket will not be successful on the turning tracks of India.
The first Test will be played from January 25 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium.
