Indore: Virat Kohli recreated his shot of the century from the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 against Naveen Ul Haq in the second T20I between India and Afghanistan in Indore. Virat had hit an impossible looking shot for a six on Haris Rauf’s ball at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in 2022.
Kohli played the same shot on the third ball of Naveen’s over and it went for a six.
He scored 29 runs off 16 balls as the Men in Blue won the game by 6 wickets while chasing 173.
Rohit Sharma fell for a golden duck but sensational hitting by Yashasvi Jaiswal and Shivam Dube took the host nation to an easy win. Both Jaiswal and Dube hit fifties.
Earlier, Gulbadin Naib’s 35-ball 57 propelled Afghanistan to 172 all out. Mujeeb Ur Rahman (21 off 9 balls) and Karim Janat (20 off 10) came up with valuable knocks.
Arshdeep Singh (3 wickets in 4 overs) was the most successful bowler.
