Rohit Sharma (8/10): Struggled at the start, but got his eye in eventually and scored a crucial half-century. Contributed 56 off 37, with the aid of eight fours and a six. Added 128 for the second wicket with Cameron Green before a brilliant catch by Nitish Reddy off Mayank Dagar’s bowling.

Ishan Kishan (3.5/10): Was out for 14 off 12. Miscued a pull-off Bhuvneshwar Kumar to midwicket.

Chris Jordan (4.5/10): Got the wicket of Glenn Phillips, but was expensive again. Conceded 42 runs in his four overs.

Piyush Chawla (4/10): Was ineffective this time. Did not pick a wicket and went for 39 runs in his four overs.

Jason Behrendorff (3/10): Bowled three overs for 36 runs, without picking up a wicket.

Kumar Kartikeya (4/10): Also proved ineffective. Went wicketless in his four overs, conceding 39 runs.

Akash Madhwal (9/10): Bowled an excellent spell to lead MI’s fightback. Got the wickets of Vivrant Sharma and Mayank Agarwal after a big opening stand. Cleaned up by Heinrich Klaasen and Harry Brook off consecutive deliveries to finish with figures of 4/37.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Mayank Agarwal (9/10): Marked a belated return to form. Played the kind of knock that SRH were expecting from him all season. Clubbed 83 off 46 balls with the aid of eight fours and four sixes.

Vivrant Sharma (8.5/10): Impressed while opening the innings, scoring a handsome 69 off 47 balls. Struck nine fours and two sixes and featured in a brilliant opening stand of 140 with Mayank Agarwal.

Aiden Markram (5/10): Batted lower down the order and scored an unbeaten 13 off 7. Hit a last-ball six in the innings to lift SRH to 200.

Heinrich Klaasen (4.5/10): Scored 18 off 13. Was cleaned up by a good delivery from Akash Madhwal.

Harry Brook (2/10): Was knocked over for a golden duck by a brilliant from Akash Madhwal. Took an excellent catch to dismiss Ishan Kishan.

Nitish Reddy (3/10): Was wicketless, conceding 35 runs in his three overs.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar (7.5/10): Got the early wicket of Ishan Kishan. Was economical once again, conceding only 26 runs in his four overs.

Umran Malik (2/10): Finally got a game, but could not make much of an impact. Did not claim a wicket and was clobbered for 41 runs in three overs.

Kartik Tyagi (1.5/10): Looked completely out of sync and erratic. Sent down three no-balls. Ended with figures of 0/41 from 2.5 overs.
