In 97 matches, Axar has 918 runs and 140 wickets.

Patel represents Gujarat in the domestic circuit and Delhi Capitals in the IPL.

Patel took a five-wicket haul in his Test debut on February 13, 2021, against England.

Patel was the emerging player of the tournament in the  2014 IPL.
