Wriddhiman Saha major goof-up
Saha explained the reason behind the delay.

Gujarat Titans (GT) opener Wriddhiman Saha provided insight into the incident during the team’s 56-run victory over Lucknow Super Giants on Sunday, May 7.

GT amassed their highest-ever total of 227-2, with Saha scoring 81 runs off 43 deliveries. KS Bharat was seen wearing wicketkeeping gloves during the mid-innings break.

After a brief stop, Saha rushed out of the dressing room. However, he left the pitch after two overs, with Bharat assuming the wicket-keeper’s responsibilities.

Saha explained the reason behind the delay.

“The physio instructed me to take my medicine after food in the changing room. I rushed to the field after taking it. I wore my trousers in a rush and didn’t realize it was the wrong way around. After two overs, I changed it.”

GT are scheduled to face the Mumbai Indians (MI) on Friday, May 12, at the Wankhede Stadium. The defending champions are at the top of the table with 16 points.
