Shikhar Dhawan scored an unbeaten 75 and Virat Kohli scored 45 to guide India to an eight-wicket win over New Zealand in a one-day cricket international that was shortened because of so-called sun-strike.
A 154-run opening partnership between Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma set India on course to a 90-run win over New Zealand in the second one-day cricket international on Saturday and a 2-0 lead in the five-match series. Sharma made 87 and Dhawan 66 as India posted 324-4 after winning the toss and opting to bat.
