One of the most missed and adored cricketers in the world, AB de Villiers put up a T20 masterclass for Rangpur Riders against Dhaka Dynamites at Chattogram in 2019 Bangladesh Premier League. Former South African cricketer hung up his boots from international cricket in 2018.

When De Villiers came to bat, Rangpur Riders were reeling at 5/2 chasing 187 runs. Windies all-rounder Andre Russell was on fire and dismissed Chris Gayle and Rilee Rossouw in the second over but Mr.360 hooked his hat-trick ball for six and then went on to club 22 more off his next seven balls with bowlers like Shakib, Russell, and Sunil Narine at the receiving end of the vintage ABD pummeling.

The Proteas great took 24 balls to reach his half-century, and another 26 to reach his maiden BPL century. He lit up Chattogram and crowd couldn’t help but chant “A-B! A-B!” AB’s knock again highlighted what South Africa is going to miss at the 2019 Cricket World Cup.
