The Royal Challengers Bangalore finally ended the suspense for the IPL fans and unveiled a brand new logo of the franchise ahead of the next edition of the cash-rich league. After a series of cryptic messages on social media platforms, RCB came out with its new logo which features a lion.
It all started when the franchise removed their profile picture along with some old posts a few days back and wrote a cryptic message on their official Twitter account. RCB posted, “Brace Yourselves. 14th February, remember the date.”
When the skipper Virat Kohli came to know about RCB’s new visual identity, he posted a witty tweet for the franchise.
Taking to his official Twitter handle, Kohli wrote, “LOGO ka kaam hai kehna. Thrilled to see our new @rcbtweets logo. It embodies the bold pride and challenger spirit that our players bring to the field. Can’t wait for #IPL2020 #NewDecadeNewRCB”
Speaking on the launch of the new logo, the chairman of RCB, Sanjeev Churiwala said, “The elements in the logo are a commitment to continuously entertain and engage with fans who are the force behind Royal Challengers Bangalore. We believe a change in identity for the club was necessary to effectively live and breathe this vision and celebrate the passion for cricket and playing boldly.”
