After Australia thumped India in the first ODI of the three-match series, former England skipper Michael Vaughan had taken to Twitter to make a bold prediction.

“Early call … I think Australia will beat India this tour in all formats convincingly,” Vaughan’s tweet read.

Australia then later claimed the ODI series by a margin of 2-1. However, on Sunday, India defeated Australia in a thrilling second T20I at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) and clinched the series with one game still to play.

Former India batsman and current Kings XI Punjab coach Wasim Jaffer, who has taken social media by storm with quirky posts and funny memes, was quick to remind Vaughan about his “early call” with a snap from the famous movie “Gangs of Wasseypur”.

Netizens were left in splits after Wasim hilariously trolled Vaughan.
