Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni combined together to take Men in Blue to 190 runs from the allotted 20 overs. The Indian skipper scored an unbeaten 72 off 38 balls while MS Dhoni amassed 40 off 23 balls as they stitched together a 100-run partnership within eight overs. Earlier, KL Rahul scored a magnificent 47 to give India a lighting start despite Shikhar Dhawan’s below par show from the other end.

Cricket fanatics were mighty impressed with the former Indian skipper batted after his uncharacteristic knock in the first T20, which India lost by 3 wickets. Dhoni was lambasted by critics for his slow batting despite facing a lot of balls.
