IPL 2020 will be played under strict bio-bubble protocols, owing to the risk of coronavirus. All the players have to follow the rules laid down by the BCCI and IPL authorities during the entire tournament. In the bio-safe environment, players will be cut off from the rest of the world for the next few months.
Speaking about the new challenges for all the eight teams in this year’s IPL, Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan said that bio-bubble is going to test the mental strength of the players. According to Dhawan, the players need to see the new reality as an opportunity to improve themselves in every aspect.
Speaking to Hindustan Times via Zoom call from his hotel room in Dubai, the 34-year-old southpaw said, “It will test our mental strength. It’s almost like Big Boss. More than challenging, I see it as an opportunity to improve in every aspect.”
“I am sure it’s going to have a huge impact on everyone,” Dhawan added.
