Pakistani wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal once again become a butt of a joke for his poor performance on the field. The 38-year-old gloveman dropped a simple catch during his side’s recent match against Quetta Gladiators in the ongoing Pakistan Super League.

When Peshawar Zalmi were up in the game against Quetta Gladiators, Akmal came forward to give Sohail Khan a reprieve by dropping a sitter. However, the fortunes were in favor of Zalmi as the miss didn’t prove costly for the team and Wahab Riaz-led side won the match by 30 runs at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

While everyone was confident that Akmal won’t miss the catch and Gladiators would see their 8th wicket fall, Kamran had other ideas. Even the commentators were left in shock. “Dropped! What is he doing?”, said one of the commentators.

The mistake didn’t go down well with the PSL fans and they started trolling Kamran Akmal. While some people felt that he is the worst wicket-keeper of the PSL history, others said that if there was a stat for the dropped catches, Akmal would lead the all-time record.
