Andre Russell was in exceptional touch against Royal Challengers Bangalore. The right hand batsman won another game for his IPL franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders. He smashed an unbeaten 48 runs off 13 balls as KKR surpassed the 206-run target with five balls to spare.

KKR co-owner Shah Rukh Khan was delighted with the effort of players and went on to praise his team. He reserved special praise for Andre Russell, who won his third Man of the Match award in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League.

KKR were standing on the brink of losing second game of the season with 68 runs required off 26 balls when Russell came out to bat.

The West Indies batsman started carnage after facing 5 deliveries and there was no looking back as KKR sealed the win with ease.

Earlier, Virat Kohli (84 off 49) and AB de Villiers (63 off 32) added 108-run stand to take RCB to 205 for three.
