Rishabh Pant will play as a specialist wicket-keeper batsman in the fourth ODI against Australia. With MS Dhoni being rested for the last two ODIs of the series, Pant can seal a slot in the World Cup squad. In earlier ODIs, Pant had played purely as a batsman with Dhoni donning the wicket-keeping gloves.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has the chance of playing on Sunday after Mohammed Shami was hit on the leg during the third ODI of the series.
Men in Blue will go in with couple of changes in the remaining games.
“We will have a few changes in the next couple of games but the idea is to tell the boys to put in match-winning performances and the boys will be looking to be in top form before the flight to England,” Kohli said after the third ODI.
