Virat Kohli century
Chappell said that the opposition teams know Kohli's game inside out, so he needs to be mentally fresh and prepared to adapt his game accordingly.

India and New Zealand will lock horns in the 2nd ODI today at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur. The stadium will host its first ODI game and become the 50th ODI venue in India.

The Men in Blue won the first match by 12 runs and are eyeing the number 1 spot in the ODI rankings. The Rohit Sharma-led side need to whitewash the Kiwis to top the ranking chart. On the other hand, the Blackcaps are in great shape, as they almost snatched victory from India’s jaw in the 1st ODI.

Shubman Gill, who is in hot form, broke a plethora of records with his maiden double hundred. Although, all eyes will be on Virat Kohli, who did not excite the crowd in the first game but is 111 runs away from scripting history.

Virat has 24,889 international runs in 488 matches and is just 111 runs away from becoming the first active cricketer to complete 25,000 international runs. The next active cricketer with the most runs is Joe Root, who has 17,729 runs in 317 matches.

The former India skipper is the 6th leading run-scorer and will join Sachin Tendulkar, Kumar Sangakkara, Ricky Ponting, Mahela Jayawardene, and Jacques Kallis in the elite list of players with 25,000 international runs.

Kohli has scored three centuries in his last five ODIs but got out cheaply on 8 (10) against New Zealand.
