Only two games are left before the completion of another successful IPL campaign. Chennai Super Kings have become the first team to enter the finals after they beat Gujarat Titans by 15 runs in the first qualifier.
Chennai have been the most impressive side this season, given they finished 9th last year. In the latest development, former BCCI president and Delhi Capitals’ director of cricket, praised CSK and stated that MSD and Chennai have shown how to win games in IPL.
“CSK and Dhoni have been fantastic. They know how to win big matches. MS Dhoni has been remarkable as a captain.”
Chennai entered the finals for a record 10th time in the IPL, but Delhi Capitals had a disastrous run this season as they finished 9th.
Further, no Indian youngster succeeded in making a name for themselves for DC, but Ganguly praised the youngsters who shone in the tournament for other teams. He reserved massive praise for Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, and Tilak Varma.
“Rinku has been brilliant. Dhruv Jurel played well, and Yashasvi Jaiswal was brilliant as well. Tilak has also been brilliant for MI this season.”
