Sachin Tendulkar Shoaib Akhtar
Akhtar said that it is high time that Indian fast bowlers are celebrated as much as the Indian batters.

Former Pakistan player Shoaib Akhtar said while he regards Sachin Tendulkar as the best batter, the latter was lost as a captain. He also claimed that Sachin left the captaincy because he couldn’t handle the pressure.

The 47-year-old made the observation while comparing Sachin with Virat Kohli. The two are often discussed as they are the best batters in the history of international cricket.

“Sachin Tendulkar is the best batter in the world but was lost as a captain. He left the captaincy because of the pressure. Even Virat Kohli was lost but when his mind became free, he ruled the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia,” he added.

Sachin is the all-time highest run-getter in international cricket, with over 35,000 runs. He also hit 100 international centuries in his career.
