Prithvi Shaw was drunk and hit his female fan with a bat, claimed the lawyer of a woman who is in Police custody for attacking the cricketer after he refused to click more pictures with her friends.
Sapna Gill, a social media influencer, was arrested by the cops at Oshiwara Police Station. She is one of the eight accused against whom the case has been filed.
Speaking to ANI, Gill’s lawyer advocate Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh, said that Shaw hit his client.
“During a party, Sapna went to Prithvi Shaw and requested him for a selfie. Prithvi was drunk and hit Sapna with his bat. Then the next day, he went to the Police station and filed the case,” Deshmukh told ANI.
The lawyer further said they would file the case against the player. “We will file a case under sections 354, 509 and 334 against him. We will first get Sapna out and will then file the case. Shaw was drunk and even hit a bike. He drove his car drunkenly and hit Sapna with a bat.”
