Ramiz Raja and Najam Sethi
Ramiz Raja questioned Najam Sethi's mental health

Since ACC president and BCCI secretary Jay Shah announced that India would not travel to Pakistan for Asia Cup 2023, hardly a day goes by without the two boards hogging the internet.

The controversy has intensified over the months, and in the latest development, India rejected Pakistan’s hybrid model proposal. Further, the other board participating in the continental cup also rejected the idea of moving the tournament to UAE over heat issues.

Later, Najam Sethi proposed the idea of moving the tournament to England, to which they are yet to receive a reply. Former PCB chairman Ramiz Raja reacted to the recent proposals and questioned Sethi’s mental health.

Appearing on his YouTube channel, Raja bashed Sethi and remarked, “Is Sethi mentally stable or not? I was shocked when I heard the chairman saying it would be great to see Asia Cup at the Lords. What is the point of having an Asia Cup if the participating teams do not get familiarised with the sub-continent conditions.”

Raja further slammed Sethi over the proposal of UAE hosting PSL’s next edition and stated, “On one hand you are saying Pakistan is safe for cricket regarding Asia Cup, and on the other hand, they want to organise PSL 9 in UAE because of taxation issues in Pakistan.”
