Rishabh Pant is facing the flak for no fault of his. Fans are targeting him for Samson’s exclusion. Samson’s childhood coach Biju is unhappy with the behavior of the fans.
“Fans have different opinions and are turning against Rishabh Pant, which is wrong. Pant has been a performer for a long time, and that’s why he is in the team. I know he hasn’t done well in New Zealand, but that happens with every player. Everything is fine between Pant and Samson,” Biju told CricketNext.
“Mallu crowd is putting Sanju Samson against BCCI and belittling Rishabh Pant. Even leaders in Kerala are giving unwanted statements. Samson is not being targeted. VVS Laxman is the coach, and I don’t see that happening.”
