Former India cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu is facing massive flak for calling legendary Pakistan cricketer and current Prime Minister Imran Khan his big brother. He made the statement while interacting with the CEO of the Kartarpur project.
Sidhu reached Kartarpur to pay obeisance in Kartarpur Sahib Gurudwara. Sidhu further added he has lots of love for the Pakistan Prime Minister.
Sidhu was renowned for his match-winning knocks for Team India in Test cricket and ODIs. His innings against Pakistan in the quarterfinal of the World Cup in 1996 was hailed by leading cricket experts.
He worked as a commentator after retiring from the game. Sidhu regularly came on a pre-match show in the first few editions of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
He is now into active politics and is the head of Punjab Congress.
