Team India has a jam-packed schedule until the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.

Team India defeated West Indies by 17 runs in the third T20 to complete another clean sweep in this format of the game. With this win, India became the number one side in T20Is. India now have a rating of 269, surpassing England to reclaim the crown.

The last time Team India held the top ranking was under the leadership of MS Dhoni in early 2016. India have bounced back after facing humiliation in the ICC T20 World Cup. They defeated New Zealand 3-0 under Rohit Sharma and now with another dominating performance, the Men in Blue have scripted consecutive whitewash victories in bilateral T20I series.

This was India’s sixth whitewash series win in the slam bang version of the game, four of which have come under Rohit Sharma.
