India’s star all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who recently renewed his vows with his wife Natasa Stankovic, is one of the most stylish and flamboyant characters in the Indian team. Pandya, who got promoted as India’s vice-captain in the limited overs format, created a special social media feat surpassing the likes of tennis star Rafael Nadal, F1 star Max Verstappen, and football star Erling Haaland.

On Monday, March 7, Pandya completed 25 million followers on Instagram and thanked his fans in a special video. With the feat, Pandya beat several global stars to reach the 25 million mark first.

F1 world champion Max Verstappen has 9.5 million followers, while Nadal has 17.9 million fan-following on Instagram. Meanwhile, Roger Federer has 11.3 million followers on Insta and footballing sensation Erling Haaland is the closest to Pandya with 24.7 million followers. The Gujarat Titans captain is now the fifth most followed Indian on Instagram, behind Rohit Sharma (26.9), Sachin Tendulkar (39), MS Dhoni (40.7), and Virat Kohli (239).

“Thank you to all my fans for the love. Each one of my fans is special to me, and I would like to thank them for the love and support they have given me over all these years,” shared Pandya in a special video.

Pandya will be seen next during the three-match bilateral series against Australia from March 17.
