Babar Azam flat track bully
The pitch in Pakistan has come under the scanner again for not helping the bowlers.

Former New Zealand player Simon Doull has taken a cheeky dig at Pakistan captain Babar Azam for the pitch used in the second Test against New Zealand in Karachi.

The pitches in Pakistan have come under the scanner for not helping the bowlers. New Zealand scored 449 in the first innings, and Pakistan aggregated 408 in reply.

The Kiwis were 134/4 at the time of writing. Many experts have questioned the nature of the track, and Simon Diull has now joined the list.

“When it comes to a Test, it is comepletely different. Where does this instruction come from? Does it come from Babar who wants to improve his track record by batting on a road? Does it come from above him?”

The ongoing Test is the last of Pakistan’s 2022/23 home season, which hasn’t been good for the Babar Azam-led team. Although he was the number one run-getter in Tests last year, Pakistan failed to win a single Test on home soil.
