Can Chennai Super Kings win IPL 2023?
The teams' captains could wither it away, but cricket is 90% a mental game.

Chennai Super Kings put up a near-perfect display against Delhi Capitals at the Chepauk Stadium after they DC by 27 runs.

The Men in Yellow, batting first, put 167/8 on the board. Shivam Dube scored 25(12), while MS Dhoni stole the limelight in the end, as the 41-year-old amassed 20(9), which included two sixes and a four.

In reply, Delhi Capitals got off to the worse possible start as they lost three early wickets. Manish Pandey and Rilee Rossouw stitched a 59-run stand, but the Capitals failed to keep the required run rate in check. In the end, the David Warner-led side fell short of 27 runs.

Several cricketers took to social media platforms to hail CSK’s near-perfect display and also criticised DC’s management for not promoting Axar Patel up the order. Here are some of the reactions.

CSK will next play KKR on May 14, while DC will square off against Punjab Kings on May 13.
