The ICC World Cup 2023 is less than two weeks away. India will host the premier white-ball event from October 5 to November 19. Besides the hosts, Australia and the Netherlands have already landed in India, while other participating nations have also been issued visas, except Pakistan.
The Babar Azam-led side is the only team that still awaits visa clearance. Notably, the PCB applied for the visas last week but is yet to receive a green signal to travel to India. This delay in getting the visas has forced them to change their travel plans, as the PCB had planned a two-day camp in Dubai for team bonding, but now they have to cancel it.

As per the reports from ESPN Cricinfo, Pakistan were set to fly to Dubai on Monday and leave for India on Wednesday for their two warm-up games on September 29 and October 3 against New Zealand and Australia. The members of the PCB are hopeful that they will get the visas on time.
The fans believe the tension between the two nations to be the reason behind the delayed visa clearance. Meanwhile, India and Pakistan would lock horns against each other at Narendra Modi Stadium on October 14.
