Pakistan failed to impress in the Test series at home. While Australia defeated them by a margin of 1-0, England won all the three Tests in the sub-continent country.

Babar Azam-led team somehow managed to draw the red-ball matches against New Zealand. The Kiwis had the upper hand against the rivals. Tim Southee’s team was stopped by bad light in Karachi.

In the opening Test, the visitors almost chased down an easy target. They needed just one wicket to register an emphatic win in the second and last game. However, the play was called off due to fading light.

Captain Babar was grilled by reporters after the game. One of the journalists asked him about his sacking from captaincy.

Journalist – There are reports that you have lost control as a captain. Shahid Afridi has sacked Mohammad Rizwan from vice-captaincy. Shan Masood is your new deputy in ODIs. According to reports, you will be sacked from Test captaincy. What’s your take?

Babar Azam – You must be knowing who is going to be Pakistan’s new captain. I have no information. My job is to perform and get the best out of my players.
