Mohammed Siraj’s reaction to KS Bharat denying his request for a DRS review during the WTC Final has gained widespread attention on social media. Siraj had already taken the wicket of David Warner early in the second innings and dismissed Usman Khawaja for a duck in the first innings.

With India trailing by a significant 173 runs in the first innings, the Indian bowlers were determined to stage a remarkable comeback.

Similar to his performance in the first innings, Siraj made an early breakthrough by dismissing Australian opener David Warner for just one run in the fourth over. The left-handed batsman edged Siraj’s delivery to wicketkeeper KS Bharat.

Siraj also appealed for Khawaja’s wicket after hitting him on the pad early in the innings. Despite a prolonged appeal, the on-field umpire ruled it not out. Siraj desperately wanted a review and urged captain Rohit Sharma to send the decision for a third-umpire check.

However, India decided against reviewing the decision after advice from wicketkeeper Bharat. This decision left Siraj bewildered and displeased with Bharat’s call. Siraj gave a stern look to Bharat. It is worth noting that Siraj had already dismissed Khawaja in the first innings, where the left-handed opener was out for a duck.
