The former England cricketer, Kevin Pietersen, has reached Dubai to be a part of the commentary panel for the 13th edition of Indian Premier League. Following his arrival in UAE, Pietersen went on to predict the champions of this year’s IPL. According to the 40-year-old veteran batsman, Delhi Capitals could possibly lift their maiden IPL trophy in the UAE.
Pietersen, who was seen commentating during the recently-concluded three-match T20I series between England and Australia, took to his official Instagram handle and shared a picture of himself from Dubai.
The caption of the post reads, “From a bubble in the UK to a bubble in Dubai! I love that we have cricket back and as always very excited about working on the IPL. Who’s winning? I hope Delhi.”
The Delhi-based franchise is one of three teams in the IPL along with Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kings XI Punjab who are yet to win the tournament. Last year, Shreyas Iyer-led side enjoyed a great run as they successfully made it to the playoffs after a seven-year-long gap.
Delhi Capitals will start their IPL campaign against Kings XI Punjab on September 20 at the Dubai International Stadium.

A few days ago, former Australia pacer Brett Lee also made a prediction regarding the winner of the upcoming tournament. He opined that Chennai Super Kings are likely to win the 2020 edition of IPL.
Responding to a fan’s query, Lee said, “Hard to say but let’s go with CSK.”
