Meanwhile, KL Rahul scored a magnificent hundred after being asked to bat by Virat Kohli. The skipper of Kings XI Punjab looked in great touch from the starting and played some fabulous strokes.
After crossing the mark of 80 runs, he was dropped twice by Virat Kohli. Capitalizing on the mistakes, he reached his ton. The right-handed now holds the record of the highest score by an Indian player and skipper in the history of the cash-rich league.
His unbeaten score of 132 took Kings XI Punjab to 206/3 from the allotted 20 overs. Rahul hit 14 fours and 7 sixes in his knock.
