A lot has been said and written about Rohit Sharma's fitness and his exclusion from India’s limited-overs squads despite his presence in the IPL 2020 final against Delhi Capitals.
However, after a lot of speculations surrounding his hamstring injury, the 33-year-old batsman landed in Australia last week after clearing his fitness test at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru.
He is currently staying in mandatory 14-day isolation which will end after the second Test between India and Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
Hitman recently took to his official Instagram handle and shared an adorable post for his wife Ritika Sajdeh on her 33rd birthday. On this special occasion, Rohit uploaded a series of pictures for his partner and wrote, “Happy birthday darling, love you forever @ritssajdeh.”
Earlier this month, Rohit and Ritika celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on December 13.
As far as cricket is concerned, Indian team will need Rohit’s services in the last two matches of the ongoing series as skipper Virat Kohli is set to return home to be with his wife Anushka Sharma for the birth of their first child.
Following their humiliating defeat in the Adelaide Test against Tim Paine’s men, visitors are looking to bounce back in the next game, starting from December 26.
