The Indian Cricket team captain Virat Kohli has said that India are ready to face Australia in a Day-Night Test Down Under. India had refused to play a day-night Test in 2018-19. However, Virat Kohli is not only ready to face the fire but is also confident of positive outcomes.

Earlier, Australian skipper Tim Paine had challenged Virat Kohli to start the summer with a pink ball Test. Responding to this, the Indian Talisman said, “We are absolutely up for the challenge and whether its Gabba, Perth doesn’t matter to us. We do have the skill sets now to compete against anyone in the world anywhere in any format of the game.”

India played their first-ever pink-ball Test at home where they defeated Bangladesh at the Eden Gardens. “Look we played the day-night Test here; we were pretty happy with how it went and it has become a very exciting feature of any Test series and we are absolutely up to playing day-night Tests,” Virat Kohli said in a press conference ahead of the ODI match in Mumbai.

India will be playing Australia in a 3-match ODI series starting from January 14. Later in the year, India will travel to Australia to take on the hosts Down Under.
