The Men in Blue continued their glorious run Down Under as they defeated New Zealand in the third ODI by seven wickets at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui. Now, the Kohli-led side have an unassailable lead of 3-0 in the five-match ODI series. They have outplayed the Kiwis in each of the games thus far.

Team India had also tasted success in the three-match ODI series in Australia preceding the ongoing series. They had registered their first bilateral triumph in Australia by 2-1.

And Kedar Jadhav has been India’s lucky charm. The Asian side is unbeaten in the last 17 ODIs that Kedar Jadhav has played in.

This hot-streak commenced on October 25 in 2017 when India defeated New Zealand by six wickets in Pune. The only match that India didn’t win with him in the side came in Asia Cup where a game between Afghanistan and India culminated in a tie.

Jadhav has sealed his place in team XI and looks set to be an integral part of the side in the upcoming 2019 Cricket World Cup. He has a good head on his shoulders and exhibited his finishing skills in the series-decider against Australia. And we all know that he has a golden arm at his disposal, which makes him a good all-round option for world’s no.2 ranked ODI side.
