Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals collided in a thrilling game on Sunday in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

Despite losing their top-order, RR managed to win the game, thanks to Rahil Tewatia and Riyan Parag’s unbeaten 85 runs partnership at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi. This win ended RR’s four-game losing streak.

However, between the game and after the game, Shane Warne and Michael Vaughan were involved in a hilarious banter. After restricting SRH to a total of 158, Warne was confident of his team chasing down the target, by the end of the 17th or 18th over.

“Spot on with my vibe today. The boys were outstanding with the ball and on the field! SRH 15/20 short of a good score. The @rajasthanroyals boys will get these in the 17/18th over #HallaBol,” Warne tweeted.

However, halfway through the run chase, RR lost their top four batsmen — Ben Stokes, Steve Smith, Jos Buttler, and Sanju Samson — and were struggling at 78/5 after 12 overs of play.

Following RR’s slump, Vaughan took a jibe at Shane Warne stating that there’s no chance of a comeback for his side. “No Chance King,” Vaughan had tweeted.

However, after the game, Vaughan had to delete his tweet. After Vaughan’s tweet backfired, it was Warne’s turn to take a jibe at the former England skipper.

“Sorry. @MichaelVaughan – What was that you were saying about the @rajasthanroyals?” Warner tweeted. Now it will be interesting to see whether Vaughan responds to this tweet or not.
