In the second ODI between South Africa and Sri Lanka, the hosts won the game easily by 113 runs to take a lead of 2-0 in teh five-match ODI series. However, an interesting incident took place during the course of the match. Proteas regular wicket-keeper, Quinton de Kock went off the field while Sri Lanka was batting.

It compelled South Africa to hand over the gloves to David Miller, who is an absolutely brilliant fielder. And he made the most of his stint as the Proteas stand-in gloveman. Moreover, he also got compared to India’s great MS Dhoni after he took off the bails in a rapid manner much like Dhoni in the 32nd over of the visitors’ innings.

The batsman at the strike was Vishwa Fernando. he was adjudged not-out since his foot was inside the crease. But Miller’s quick hands made Dhoni’s Chennai teammate and South Africa skipper, Faf du Plessis term him as MSD.
